Puppies will be ready for new homes at eight weeks-of-age, after August 30.

Emily and Ben have a gorgeous litter of 7 yellow and black puppies -- 

3 yellow girls, 2 black girls, 1 black boy, and 1 yellow boy

Here are some photos of the puppies at almost 6 weeks of age.  Puppies are outside in our puppy yard, running in the grass and dirt.  They have rather dirty feet, but they are beautiful puppies with good conformation and lovely heads.  

Yellows are quite light in color, with some tawny shading around ears and faces.  Black girl with green collar has a small white patch on her chest that is getting smaller each week.  This can be seen in the next-to-last row of photos.

All the puppies in this litter are great raw-meaty-bones eaters.  They chew up chicken drumsticks and hunks of local beef three times a day.  Emily still visits to nurse them when she feels so inclined.  They are chubby, happy little Labs, who will be ready to go to their families at the end of August.
